Over the last decade, 2XU has worked with world-leading research teams to scientifically prove the benefits of 2XU clothing. We rigorously test our fabrics using the latest techniques and equipment to ensure they can withstand the demands of the sport.

The benefits of our compression come from the fact that our fabrics are durable and long lasting. Every batch of compression fabric we produce is first tested for strength and resilience on an Instron tensile testing machine. If it does not meet quality standards, it is rejected and re-manufactured. Approved compression fabrics are then carefully made into a garment and tested on the Salzmann pressure gauge to ensure pressure is distributed effectively and evenly. The Salzmann tester is internationally recognized as the most technically accurate device for measuring compression and is often used to test medical compression.
